An example of when I started a project without stating the issue would have been when I was in a music video project last year. My group had all of these ambitious ideas such as making shirts, getting girls from around the school to be in the video, using the media center's green screen, and a ton of other things. The very obvious problem however, was that we didn't consider that all of these things would take a significant amount of time to both shoot and acquire considering that the project deadline was only a month later. We ended up only working a week before it was due, with none of our original ideas. What we should've done, was address the fact that we had major time constraints, and made a schedule around that fact. If we had done that from the beginning, then we would've ended up with a much better end product.
